César and Adela Gonzmart are truly legends of Ybor. As proprietors of the oldest continuously operated restaurant in Florida, the Columbia, they were a local institution. Both were noted professional musicians.

Simply put, eating at the Columbia is an experience not to be missed! It has some of the best food enjoyed anywhere.

Ybor City was founded as an independent town in 1885 by a group of cigar manufacturers led by Vicente Martinez-Ybor and was annexed by Tampa in 1887. The original population was mostly composed of Cuban and Spanish immigrants who worked in the cigar factories, giving Tampa the nickname of the "Cigar City".

This design features the Gonzmarts as romantic subjects depicted in a classic cigar box style.
